Pocahontas Woods will offer an Adirondack Chair workshop the evenings of May 15, 17, 22 & 24. The shop will be open from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The class will cost $25.00 per evening. Some folks may find it will only take two evenings to do one chair—three to do two chairs. The materials cost, per chair, will be $40.00 for pine, $70.00 for cypress or mahogany. 1. We are taking wooden sign orders; we do it or you do it. The rate for the CNC machine will be $ 35.00/ hour, and we will help set up your job. You can spell out a v-carved name in a matter of minutes.
2. We are selling hardwoods at retail. We will be getting in some 8/4 thick material in a few weeks, but right now we have:
   • 4/4 hard maple----$ 3.50 / board foot
   • 4/4 red oak-------$ 3.25/ board foot
   • 4/4 cherry--------$ 4.25/ board foot
   • 4/4 poplar--------$ 3.00/ board foot
   • Surface two sides---$.25 / board foot
   • Belt sanding to 150 grit---$.20 / board foot
